This stretch of the River Stour can hold good shoals of roach as well as specimen chub and pike. It can fish well in winter when conditions are suitable.

DIRECTIONS

  • Take the A350 from Poole towards Blandford.

  • As you enter Charlton Marshall, take the first right after the Charlton Inn, River lane.

  • Park safely in the lane, but not at the end as this is private land.

  • To access the fishery follow the path and enter through the gate

  • Closed seasons enforced see rule 2 of the Club’s General Rules of fishing in the Membership Book. No fishing for coarse fish 14th March to 16th June.
