Longham Lake

This 25-acre venue contains  a good stock of carp with specimen-size fish to over 40lbs and numerous 20lb+ fish. It has a considerable list of fishery rules which are on display and which the on-site bailiff can help with too.

DIRECTIONS

  • From the Canford Bottom roundabout, take the Ham Lane exit towards Christchurch.

  • After 2 miles cross the Hobbycraft roundabout

  • At the next roundabout take the right exit towards Longham.

  • After 650 yards, turn right into the fishery’s main entrance and car park

FISHERY RULES

  • Members only,  so no guest tickets. A day ticket from the on-site bailiff must be collected before fishing.

  • Members need to abide by the on-site fishery rules.

HANDY TO KNOW

  • The venue also boasts bream to 17lb and pike to 31lb. Tench, roach and rudd are also present. The on-site bailiff will provide members information on recent catches

  • To minimise the risk of getting a parking ticket please put a copy of the back pages of your membership book on the dashboard so it can be read from outside the vehicle.

  • This water  provides an opportunity to fly fish for pike as the venue has open banks so that snagging can be avoided on the back cast
