Merely Hall Farm - R. Stour
This stretch of the Dorset Stour has good access from Julians Bridge downstream on the right-hand bank and continues to the last field at Merley Ways. The stretch contains a good choice of swims which are suitable for the pleasure or specimen angler.

Park on the roadside in Oakley Lane.
DOWNSTREAM BOUNDARYProceed to the top of Oakley Hill and turn left into Oakley Lane by the Willett Arms public house.
Park in Oakley Lane just before Canford School.
Walk down the drive then left along the gravel track, past the boathouse and enter the fishery through the gate on the right.

Keep an eye on the wind direction if you're intending to float fish. An upstream wind makes control of the float easier.
