Netherwood - R. Stour
Netherwood offers single bank fishing for approximately half a mile, the fishery contains a mixture of deep and shallow runs with a variety of different swims to try. An excellent water for roving or trotting the float.

There are two ways to access the fishery. Members may access it by walking under the bridge from the Merley Hall Farm land and through the first arch. Alternately, walk around the single bar gate off the main road and along the track. Arriving at the field adjacent to the river, there is a strip on the northwest side about 4 metres wide where members can walk to the River.
FISHERY RULESSpecies on offer Chub 6lb+, Roach 1lb+, Dace 10oz+ Grayling 2lb+, Pike 15lb+, Perch 2lb+, Gudgeon, Bleak, Brown Trout and Seatrout when in season.
Spend some time walking the stretch before fishing to locate the shoals.
Travel light.
Keep an eye on the wind direction if you're intending to float fish. An upstream wind makes control of the float easier.
Check the river levels on the website via the link buttons during the winter months before heading out.
Be aware of livestock in fields.
