Dear fellow members,

A short report this month, I'm afraid. The heatwave that's been building through July really took its toll on both venues, and after a water test at Zelston showed rising temperatures and the highest nitrate levels since 2021, I made the call to close both WZ and Rawlsbury to fishing until conditions improve. A tough decision, but the right one to protect the fish rather than wait for a problem to develop. We're keeping a close eye on both waters and will let everyone know as soon as we can reopen.
